These appear to be Picasa pictures, so that makes it kind of complicated.
I want to switch this site from Wordpress to Joomla and upgrade the hosting to dedicated, which would make it a lot more flexible for that type of thing. For now, you can just keep checking back and subscribe to our feed. I’ll keep you posted.

How does one download/copy these pics to one’s heard-drive?

If you use next/back buttons and drag them to your HDD while they are still opening, they will copy properly.
